Gone Today Here Tomorrow....

Yes, I know I mixed up that phrase, but that's the point.  As a parent, I always wonder if I'm saying the right things or giving the right answers, but some days are just comical.  Tyler is so curious about everything these days.  I'm realizing how much I take for granted and how much I don't know and some times do know. 

Tyler: Mommy, is today tomorrow?

Me:  (Huh?) No, tomorrow will be after we sleep one night.

Tyler:  Remember Nicholas said yesterday, "You can come over my house tomorrow."

Me:  Yes, then today would have been tomorrow yesterday. (double HUH?)

Tyler:  So today is tomorrow? 

Me:  (Urgh....) Kind of.  Today is the day Nicholas was talking about yesterday. 

Tyler:  So I can go over to his house?

Me:  Yes! (save me!)
